No more lectures in packed lecture halls, make way for technology!

Online learning is experiencing strong growth, attracting more and more young people and professionals to connect to study (see infographic below). Beyond the efforts made by online universities regarding the quality of the courses offered, students benefit from à la carte learning and significant flexibility. Many of them also take advantage of this to work alongside it, thus significantly improving their CVs. However, despite the attractive benefits that online courses provide, succeeding in online studies is not possible for everyone. Here are some tips for becoming a successful "E-student":

– Be disciplined – yes, studying in bed is nice, but without someone to control you, it can be difficult to concentrate and study seriously. So, don't hesitate to strictly impose work schedules on yourself, turn off the television, cell phone, Facebook and other distractions, and find a suitable place to study.

– Stay motivated – the lack of interaction you would have with a professor and other students sometimes leads to discouragement. The ideal is to reform an attractive and engaging work environment, particularly by forming working groups. However, it is sometimes difficult to get together to study online, so you can use the time you have to deepen your thinking and vary the sources of learning (books, reports, cultural events, conferences, etc.).

– Don't cheat – unfortunately, the temptation to cheat is great, but you'll gain much more by learning on your own. See this opportunity to study online as a boost for your CV and career. You can access courses from renowned international universities that more and more employers value, as well as the independent and voluntary profile of the online student.
