At a time when young people have never been so affected by precariousness and unemployment is reaching record levels for this social category, it's time to bring a little lightness and positivity! In the end, being young is pretty cool, especially if you know some good tips ! So, here's why my 18-25 years represent the best time of my life and my little tips for making the most of it!

18 years old: majority, Baccalaureate, orientation and the first year of higher education... It's off for 7 years of financial advantages and benefits with the only justification being that of being under 26 years old and being a student.

Looking more closely, I realized that I can consider my life as a marked path with, at each period, its advantages... or its lack of advantages!

Here is my little ranking of the best periods of life:

#4) 26 to 60 years old: adult life

loser period , the desert, nothing to get your teeth into: the one when you're too old or... not old enough. Exception made if I'm planning a large family but other than that, it's full price for everything: Cinema, museum, train, plane... It's the longest period and it will undoubtedly be rich in events and adventures but in terms of money, no secret, you need a good job!

No. 3)  + 60 years: decline

This time it's here, welcome to the Seniors! And to sweeten my last days, the company will take care of me and offer me numerous discounts, a vermeil card, and other priority seats on the bus. Great! So yes, I'll have benefits, but it's a bit like the young people's way of saying goodbye to me. These benefits will still have a slightly bitter taste.

#2)  0 to 18 years: childhood

It was the time when everything was absolutely free, or almost! Problem? I don't remember. Or maybe it was just my teenage years: when my parents criticized me for the crazy amounts of money I was costing them. The Happy Meal was great: but in reality, I was way too young to do the coolest things.

#1)  18 to 25 years old: the life of a teenager, student and young professional!

We're young, beautiful, the future is bright, and so is our wallet. The best time of my life in terms of discounts and other benefits, don't miss out on yours!

So how can you make the most of this time in your life?

1- Travel and discover the world! Whether it's close to home or at the ends of the earth, it's time to pack your bags and go! Subway, train, plane, etc., all offer you their best prices, why deprive yourself? Your best memories await you...

2- Go to the cinema, the theatre, the museum, take advantage of it to educate yourself! And yes, it will fuel your discussions and also allow you to meet people!

3- Open accounts at all banks, it's free! (and you'll pocket €50 each time you open an account!). Take advantage of student loans to buy a car, your Mac, etc. Now is the time.

4- Take a small job, an internship, do babysitting, volunteer at events or festivals, in short, do something with your days! If it also brings you money, what more could you ask for?

5- Finally, go out and have fun! You only turn 20 once in your life, and if there's ever a carefree time, it's this one.
