The Student Social File (DSE)
The Student Social File is the only way to apply for a grant. The application is completed online. You must access the website https://www.messervices.etudiant.gouv.fr/envole/ . From the final year of high school, the DES must be completed each year. First come, first served, so the earlier the better to apply online. Applying earlier also helps avoid technical problems that sometimes occur when there is congestion on the site, as is often the case in May. To ensure that you submit your application correctly and avoid technical problems online, it is important to complete all screens without stopping or closing the page. The application is not validated until the last page is completed and you confirm that all the information is entered.
